GrowthBook & experiments

Configure independent targeting, flags, experiments, release controls and analysis.

API v1Updated

Configure reusable targeting

Manage attributes, saved groups and namespaces under Experimentation → Targeting. Customer attributes share validation rules: id is the internal Indiana Customer UUID; externalUserId is your App user ID. Supply request attributes or explicitly persist permitted fields as appropriate.

Commercial Feature and GrowthBook Feature Flag are separate capabilities. A flag result can control presentation or experiment routing; it cannot prove a purchase, grant an Entitlement or authorize consumption.

Experiments, release and results

  • Use Feature flags, Experiments, Metrics & data, Release controls and Insights for independent resources. Funnel can consume supported rules/assignments; it does not own experiment definitions.
  • Local/Remote is configured per Funnel; an API Key does not override it. Retrying a request preserves its result; new requests use current eligible rules. Sticky assignment is distinct from reusing an entire old output.
  • Associate actual exposure with the current assignment and derive revenue from verified commercial facts. Analysis retains input/result snapshots; a visible configuration form does not imply every statistical or automatic optimization option is available.
