React Native

Install the independent npm package for Customer identity, entitlement reads and backend-mediated usage reporting.

API v1Updated

Install the React Native SDK

Use the independent npm package at version 0.7.0. Requires React Native 0.79+, Metro 0.82+ and package exports support. The npm latest tag can point to an earlier release; install an exact version.

terminalShell
npm install --save-exact @tinkerlandai/indiana-react-native@0.7.0npm ls @tinkerlandai/indiana-react-native --depth=0

Import createIndianaReactNative from @tinkerlandai/indiana-react-native. The package includes ESM, CommonJS and TypeScript declarations, uses Fetch and AbortController, and needs no native linking or additional pod install.

The independent package and the @tinkerlandai/indiana-sdk/react-native subpath share the same core implementation; choose one entry per app. It covers Customer identity, holdings, entitlement checks and backend-mediated usage reporting. Store purchases and Funnel native UI bridges are outside this package.

Identity and usage after installation

  • Your backend issues a Customer Token for its authenticated user. Identify the client with that token and call reset at logout. Customer creation, updates and token issuance belong on the backend.
  • Clients read the current Customer's holdings and entitlements directly. Never ship a Server Key in the app.
  • Relay usage through your own authenticated backend. The backend selects the Customer from the app session and calls a server SDK with its Server Key; retries retain the original idempotencyKey.
