Environments

Keep Sandbox and Live Keys, data, and published versions separate.

API v1Updated

App and environment

  • The API origin is https://tinker.cash; the HTTP path is /api/v1/funnels. The SDK baseUrl contains only the origin.
  • Sandbox and Live have separate Keys, Customers, Funnel publications, and business data. Test in Sandbox first; create a separate Live Key and confirm the published Live Funnel UUID before launch.
  • X-Indiana-Project is the App UUID. X-Indiana-Environment is sandbox or live. Changing a header cannot turn a Sandbox Key into a Live Key.

Funnel publication and evaluation mode

This backend Decide path requires a published Funnel in the chosen environment with Remote evaluation. New Funnels default to Local; Local mode uses features() or evaluateFunnelNode() to download or evaluate rules, so the same example cannot be used as a Remote Decide call. Check evaluationMode and versionId with the SDK's configuration().

Remote decisions can read GrowthBook Feature, Experiment, and Saved group definitions up to about 60 seconds old. An accepted decision retains its result. Funnel publication, Customer attributes, and request attributes are not subject to this rules-cache delay.

Version and diagnostics

This guide uses published SDK 0.5.0 and protocol 0.5. The SDK sends version headers automatically; direct HTTP sends X-Indiana-Protocol: 0.5. For 401/403, check the Key, App, environment, and scopes. Retain the status, error code, and X-Request-Id, but never log the Key.
